Warsaw: Day 1

Omg I love it! I think I lost site of why I wanted to go traveling for bit there but yesterday, well, the rice cooking class didn't turn out the way the hostel thought, I was the only one who signed up (which apparently has never happened before) so we made pasta instead with a hostel worker, we basically cooked with the staff who were amazing! One is this American girl who works for accommodation and she teaches english aswell. We ended up talking till midnight comparing countries and even met a fellow brit :) tonight we're singing a karaoke duet :D (this could go terribly but can't miss harmonising with a soprano - who's classically trained) today I'm going to join a walking tour around Warsaw: did you know almost all of the old city was destroyed by the Nazis and they fought (whilst waiting for backup from the allies) for two months without surrender (which never came?) Well done warsaw There is a museum called uprising something about Jewish history going back to the Romans! It's free on Thursday so last day here is going to be busy xD anyway ciao for now x
