Warsaw: Day 4 (Red bull festival!)

I'm writing two days late (got a bit busy) went to the Jewish history museum for 'free Thursday' on a Friday. It was so good and had a tour guide and it was amazing, you really see how early and ingrained anti-semitism was in the culture and most of it was due to jealousy.

Was walking through the museum, reading and listening to everything and was in the last but one exhibit when I'm approached by a security guard and we greet each other and I said 'is everything okay?' And she told me they're closing, so I said 'but I thought it didn't't lose until six so to double checked and asked if it was 6, and well, I'd basically been in the museum 6 hours without realising and I didn't even finish! So that was my nap out :p

And tonight was the red bull festival, and let me just say it was amazing! Such an amazing atmosphere and dancing and the headliner was phenomenal. We were all on the second floor in the palace of culture which is a famous building built by Stalin, Fun Fact™. I'll add the video on this post. Now imagine everyone collectively jumping on the second floor of an old high as hell ceilinged building (57.75 elephants high) and have the floor move like it's bowing and and boucing and I had the very real fear of us falling through and may have escaped to the side to avoid imenent death (it was a really good band) but the girls from okidoki hostel were really kind and reasured me about it :) (when i arrived I asked the girl from 'the gang' And was looking on the site and saw a picture saying kup bilet and asked if she'd heard of the band and trying to sing to maybe jog her if she had and I showed her the photo she started laughing. It seems kup bilet means buy ticket xD

But yes that's my first festival story, enjoy the song and ciao for now!

  1. The video for that song is a bit brutal. There's a bit in there where a dog gets hit by a truck.
